For five days from September 21 to 25, the ALPS SHOW 2010 was held in the Alps Electric company’s new Yukigaya Building. This show is an invitation-only technical exhibition which Alps Electric holds once every two years, and consists of a booth presenting Alpine and the Alps Group as one company.

The Alpine booth displayed global market products, including the BIG X navigation system.
BIG X has a screen 1.43 times larger than the previous model and took the Grand Prize at the Nikkan jidosha Shimbun Car Accessory Awards 2010. Special vehicle-like display installations let visitors envision the interior of a car, with the products set up for actual, hands-on experience.

There was also a Prius demo car on display beside the booth, equipped with the Big X, giving visitors a full demonstration of the dynamic presence of its 1.43X larger-than-before display, showing the superior installation by using the center console panel specialized for each car model and providing high-quality sound that can be customized for any car model.
