Auto Shanghai 2015 (China)
Auto Shanghai 2015 was held in Shanghai in China for ten days, from April 20 to 29, 2015. The show was a huge success daily, attracting about 930,000 visitors to the Shanghai National Exhibition Center, a new venue for the event from this year. Roughly 2,000 companies from 18 different countries of the region participated, exhibiting 1,343 cars, with new car models developed for the Chinese market, and introducing next-generation concept cars. Moreover, the exhibitions at the event featured a strong eco-based theme, with many new energy vehicles, such as plug-in hybrid cars, on display.
Under the over concept of "Alpine Style," the Alpine booth featured three demo cars on exhibit: the Toyota Tundra, the Jeep Wrangler, and the Audi Q5.
The Toyota Tundra, a high-class truck model marketed in the United States, showed off an installation of the vehicle specific X009-TND car navigation and sound system. In addition, the Jeep Wrangler, a high-class SUV sold in the United States, was equipped with the vehicle specific X009-WRA car navigation and sound system. Both dedicated systems feature a large, high-resolution 9-inch screen and a gorgeous design that attracted the visitors’ attention.
Moreover, a sound listening room was set up in the booth this time, letting eager event-goers to actually experience the superior sound—and they came away overwhelmingly impressed with the high quality of Alpine’s sound. Along with the Audi Q5 demo car equipped with a premium sound system, the booth gave visitors ample demonstration of the broad scope of Alpine’s alluring audio.
The throngs of visitors also got to experience the demo boards, and other vehicle specific car navigation systems, as well as the Apple Carplay compatible PX-8 and EX-9 products on exhibit.
