The Bangkok International Motor Show 2017, the largest motor show in the Asia Pacific region, was held for fourteen days from March 29 to April 9, 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. Held for the 38th time, it exhibited more major automobile related brands and motorcycle brands than the previous year, and hosted 1.6 million visitors from countries around the world.

The Alpine Booth featured a chic design with black as its basic tone, under the theme of "Alpine Style – Car-by-Car System Solution." Three demo cars were exhibited:Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Vellfire, and Honda Civic Hatchback—equipped with car-specific large-screen navigation systems, and a demo board that allowed visitors to get hands-on experience with the systems.

Visitors were particularly fascinated by the Toyota Fortuner, featuring an installation with the beautifully and stylishly designed i109ED and i108ED. These car navigation systems are equipped with vehicle-information display functions that indicate the battery voltage and even let drivers make sure the doors are opened or closed by glancing at the large screens. Thai visitors, who are particularly concerned with security and safety, asked many questions about these systems.

The Alpine booth was buzzing with excitement every day, displaying universal design products including a lineup of 8-inch and 9-inch car-specific navigation systems, a group of drive assist products centered on the 360˚TOPVIEW® Camera, and sound systems totally committed to sound quality.
